The island of Las Palmas is famous for it’s dark nights, making it perfect for star photography.
While on the island I experimented a lot with startrail-photography. By using an extremely long exposure the stars are shown as lines because of the rotation of the earth.
The images showing full circles are pointed towards the north or in other words: looking ‘up’.
